Camp Lejeune Community Schools are holding elections for multiple open school board positions on Tuesday May 21 at all seven installation schools. Polls will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Balloting must be completed in person at the time of the election. Individuals who vote will be required to show proof of identification and sign the voter registration log.

As of now there are five official candidates for the positions: Mrs. Andrea Skillings, Ms. Destynne Bingham, Mr. Michael Skillings, Mr. Jon P. Connolly and Mrs. Tania Griffith.

Additionally, voters may write in a qualified candidate’s name to serve on the board. Write-in candidates must be an active-duty service member or their spouse residing in assigned permanent quarters aboard the MCB Camp Lejeune or MCAS New River complex.

Candidates cannot be employees of Camp Lejeune Community Schools in any capacity. In the photo gallery is information the five candidates provided from an essay prompt, "What qualifies and motivates you to serve on the Camp Lejeune Community School Board?" in their candidacy packet.
