Baldwin takes over as Deputy Commander

Col. Scott A. Baldwin assumed duties as Marine Corps Installations East-Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune’s Deputy on Sept. 1. Previous Deputy Commander Col. Michael L. Scalise is scheduled to formally retire from the Marine Corps after more than 30 years of honorable service later this month. Col. Baldwin has served in various roles at Camp Lejeune since 2014, first as the commanding officer of Marine Corps Engineer School until 2016, and most recently as the Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics at MCIEAST-MCB Camp Lejeune before assuming his current position.
