Atlantic Marine Corps Communities (AMCC) have been making strides in enabling more direct, productive and secure communication with its residents and their families. In April, the new Resident Portal, also known as Military Café, was launched. Military Cafe allows residents of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Stations New River and Cherry Point the opportunity to submit and track the status of routine maintenance requests, complete resident forms, update their contact information, make payments and be notified about upcoming community and base activities.

Available as a responsive desktop experience or free mobile app, Military Café enhances the living experience at AMCC by centralizing many of the recurring needs of resident life. As Ron Johnson, project director, AMCC stated, “Our mission at AMCC is to ensure quality housing and great service to our residents and their families. This technology is an important step in fulfilling that mission as Military Café provides our residents yet another way to connect with AMCC, ensures we’re available when they need us and that they can view the status of their service orders in real-time.”

As the state of North Carolina and surrounding areas prepare for the upcoming hurricane season that begins June 1, Military Café will be a key tool in receiving up-to-date communications that aid the health and wellness of our community.

New or existing AMCC residents are encouraged to register for Military Café for free by visiting the “Resident” section of AMCC’s website (www.atlanticmcc.com) and clicking on “Resident Portal.” You can also download the “Rent Café Resident App” for Apple and Android devices. If any assistance is needed, or if you’d like a personal walkthrough of the technology, please stop by your community office.
