Q: How would you describe how your senior year is going at Swansboro High School?

A: My senior year is exciting and a lot of fun. However, there is a lot of work to do and multiple things going on at the same time.

Q: How has the military community shaped your life?

A: I think [living in a military community] shaped my character and made me who I am today. I became more outgoing and identify with different cultures exploring different parts of the world.

Q: What is your role on the team with the conference tournament coming up?

A: I choose to be very motivational and encouraging to everyone. I push the dynamics of the team and make us strong while working together more.

Q: How did you overcome your ACL injury missing last season?

A: It was a long and difficult process [recovering]. There were times where I thought I was improving. Once I got back onto the court, I felt at home— my heart felt so much better. I felt like destroying all of teams.

Q: Who are your favorite basketball teams and why?

A: My favorite basketball teams are the Golden State Warriors in the NBA and the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA. The Golden State Warriors are a super team with really great players. There are players that I idolize on both of the teams.
