Q: How has your leadership played a role in the relationship with your siblings?

A: With my brother, it is always about trying to set a good example, leading a pathway for him since he is younger. I set this example by telling him to be his own person. For my sister, she is her own independent person who makes strong decisions.

Q: As a child of a marine, how did it influence your childhood?

A: At a young age, we were always moving around from place to place all the time. It was tough making friends, but it made me a more independent person.

Q: Where is your favorite place to shoot from on the basketball court and why?

A: I can pull up from anywhere to be honest. I credit the late Coach Otto Taylor who worked with me at Grant Creek summer program. From sixth grade to now my junior year, he helped me a whole lot with my game.

Q: What is your favorite kind of candy and why?

A: Reese’s Pieces or any kind of chocolate candy is my favorite. I am always munching on it before a game, keeping it in my book bag.
