Q: What is it like being a military child?

A: We knew about the military because our mom was in the Marine Corps. My step-dad [also a U.S. Marine] has always had a strong pride for the Marine Corps, which rubbed off on me.

Q: How did you get involved with wrestling?

A: My step-dad got me involved with wrestling. He went to Valley Forge for his first two years of college, winning two national championships there and qualifying for the NCAA tournament.

Q: How does it feel to be a conference champion?

A: It felt really great to be a conference champion, and it will add to my confidence moving forward. The goal is to do well at states.

Q: What is your favorite movie and why?

A: My favorite movie of all time is Stepbrothers. I have watched that movie so many times, and it always gets funnier.
