Q: What positives can you draw from the Coastal 8 tournament?

A: I think we did well at moving the basketball. In the second half, we got better with not being stagnate with the basketball.

Q: How have you emerged as a leader of the team?

A: It has been a great process with the coaches trusting me. I get to be a role model guiding the guys in the right direction so they can be successful.

Q: What direction do you see the Lejeune Devil pup boys basketball team moving forward?

A: We are definitely going up with a couple of guys coming back. I want us to make it to playoffs without having to wait until Saturday (the day the brackets are released).

Q: What is it like having two marine parents?

A: My parents as Marines can give me the tools to be successful, but I have to want something for myself [taking initiative]. They provide me with a lot of life lessons.

Q: Who is your favorite basketball players and why?

A: I like Chris Paul, Tony Parker and Steve Nash because they are all pass-first point guards. They were great at the pick and roll setting up their team for success.
