This useful map can help you discover what Camp Lejeune has to offer when it comes to maintaining an active and fit lifestyle.

Tarawa Terrace Community Center

The Tarawa Terrace Community Center is a social hub for families on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. The center offers a wide variety of activities mostly for kids such as dance, karate and gymnastics classes as well as playgroups and bingo nights.

“Our mission is to provide community service for Tarawa Terrace residents, Marines, Sailors, families and any other authorized patrons to come together and get to know one another,” said Michelle Wilson, community center manager.

Paradise Point Golf Course

Located on Brewster Boulevard, Paradise Point Golf Course has two 18-hole courses, the Scarlet, a par 70, and the Gold, which has a USGA Handicap requirement - a par 72. The course also has two driving ranges, one grass and one covered with 20 bays, as well as three putting greens. For more info call the Pro Shop at 451-5445.

Gottschalk Marina and Outdoor Adventures

The Outdoor Adventures program located adjacent to the Gottschalk Marina on MCB Camp Lejeune provides recreational opportunities for the community by promoting a passion for the outdoors. Events and activities offered by the program include archery, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding (SUP), canoeing, biking, camping, fishing and picnicking. The marina features rental boat slips, kayaks, canoes, SUP boards and sailboats. Contact Outdoor Adventures at 451-1440 to learn more.

Wallace Creek and French Creek Fitness Centers

The Wallace Creek Fitness Center is the largest fitness center on base and has facilities which include racquetball, volleyball and basketball courts, TRX mounts, an indoor track, a climbing wall and an outdoor artificial turf training area. The fitness center also has standard cardiovascular and strength equipment along with showers, saunas, locker rooms and basic health conscious concession options.

“The facility speaks for itself,” said manager Sam O’Leary. “We have a very good staff. That’s why it meets a high standard. The staff members make it happen.”

The French Creek Fitness Center is another workout facility on base that features racquetball courts, saunas and a 10,000 sq. ft. weight room with strength and cardio equipment.
