Parent’s Night Out: Science Fun for Everyone

Friday, 6-9 p.m.

Jacksonville Recreation and Parks will host Parent’s Night Out: Science Fun for Everyone at the

Jack Amyette Recreation Center in Jacksonville. Parents can enjoy a few hours, while kids are entertained with snacks, games and science experiments. The event is for children ages 6 to 11. The cost $5. Registration before the event is required. For more information, call 938-5312.

Montford Point Marine Association Brothers for a Purpose will host Strut Your Colors annual scholarship party at The Point, located at 148 Brynn Marr in Jacksonville. School Liaison Brown Bag Lunch

Pack a lunch and join the Department of Defense Education Activity school liaisons at a meet and greet session at DeLalio Elementary School on Marine Corps Air Station New River. School liaisons will be available to parents and guardians to answer questions. Resources on support, scholarships and more will also be available. Registration is required.
