Volunteer Connections series: Let’s Talk

Wednesday, 9:30 – 11:00 a.m.

Let’s Talk is designed to share the insights of interpersonal communication and conversation with individuals you meet throughout your military lifestyle. This workshop takes place aboard Camp Lejeune and introduces the practices and principles of conversation in one-on-one or group settings. For more information, call 451-0176.

Masquerade Ball

Jan. 26, 6 – 8 p.m.

PEERS Family Development Center will be hosting their annual Masquerade Ball at the American Legion Building. The fundraiser ball will feature live entertainment with The Notorious Clamslammers, an art auction, games, raffle and lots of dancing. Proceeds will benefit the PEERS Family Development Center, a local non-profit who offers parenting education, adolescent parenting and childcare for Onslow County. Mystery Movie Night

Jan. 27, 7 – 10 p.m.

This event will feature a full-length movie and activities for the entire family! Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Be sure to bring your blankets and chairs. Movie starts at 8 p.m. at the Commons Recreation Center. For more information, call 938-5312.
